The search for the ideal leash to photograph dogs started a few years ago. I tested a lot of them: cheap, expensive, thick, thin,... But I always came to the same conclusion: it did not live up to my expectations.
I like to be creative myself, which is not only expressed in my photography, but also in tinkering together neck and leash straps for my own four-legged friends. For this I use Paracord, a sturdy but light and thin material.
That's how I got the idea to develop my own photography leash. I picked up the good qualities of the previously tested leashes and turned them into my own design.
Before I launched this leash on the market, I obviously wanted to have it tested by fellow dog photographers. I made an appeal on social media and chose a Belgian and Dutch photographer to test the photography leash and possible improvements.

The leash is very easy to use and widely adjustable so that it fits both large and small dogs. For dogs without an extremely short coat the line also falls nicely between the hairs in the neck. The length of the leash is also fine! In post-processing it can be removed quickly and easily, even when people are holding it in their hand when they are taking a picture with the dog. All in all a success and a leash that will be used regularly during my photo sessions!

The LCPD.be photography leash is super handy during photography and in post-processing. It is suitable for both large and small dog breeds because of the easy sliding system. It is made of a thin but durable material with a high breaking force, so it can certainly also be used for stronger dogs. In post-processing this line saves a lot of time. Even with long-haired dogs the hairs fall nicely over the line, so that it can be removed with just a few clicks. I am already enthusiastic and have it standard in my photo bag!
